Masangsoft has officially acquired the intellectual property (IP) rights to King’s Raid, the beloved mobile RPG known for its global success, particularly in Japan and Southeast Asia.
The acquisition was completed on March 17, 2025 and Masangsoft has confirmed its plans to bring the game back after a period of internal development and restructuring.
Originally launched in 2017, King’s Raid earned praise for its non-gacha monetization model, high-quality character design, immersive storytelling, and dynamic presentation that brought each character’s unique personality to life.
Despite its loyal fanbase, the game officially ended service on April 15 due to operational challenges in recent years.
Masangsoft is now preparing for a global relaunch, with further details to be revealed in the near future.
