▶ Start of “World Star Season 2” and major revamp of batter, skill, Haegin (CEO Lee Young-il) has released a major update for its mobile baseball game, ‘Homerun Clash 2: Legend Derby’(hereafter referred to as ‘Homerun Clash 2’).
The highlight of this update is the World Tour Mode. Known for its thrilling online PvP-based home run battles, ‘Homerun Clash 2’ has consistently gained popularity among players. The newly added World Tour Mode shifts the focus from PvP to solo gameplay, offering a single-player mode with 8 chapters and a total of 240 stages, each packed with unique rules and missions.
As players complete missions and challenges in each stage, they receive various rewards and face progressively tougher opponents, adding to the excitement of growth. Stars earned by clearing stages can be used to unlock additional rewards, while repeated play offers more opportunities for growth.
This update also introduces two new characters, Gloria and Hammer, along with the 8th stadium, Baobab Stadium. Gloria is a striking racer with long black hair, equipped with the Soft Cycling II skill, which increases cycling home run scores. Hammer is a muscular powerhouse who uses the Agent skill, which defends against damage based on the home run gauge and fully blocks one hit when the gauge is maxed out.
Baobab Stadium, inspired by cascading waterfalls and giant baobab trees, is available to players with 2,400 or more trophies. To match the new stadium, 12 new equipment ranging from B Rank to SS Rank have also been added.
On top of that, the growth system for batters, skills, and gear has been extensively revamped. Batters and skills, which previously leveled up through a probability-based system, can now be leveled up using coins earned through gameplay. Equipment Coins, once divided by part, have been unified into a single currency, and S Rank or higher equipment now features fixed attributes tailored to each stadium, optimizing efficiency.
The update also kicks off World Star Season 2 and introduces several new features, including a Batter Effect and Defense Skill recommendation system, as well as a revamped Achievements system, bringing noticeable changes throughout the game.
