After more than a year in Early Access on Steam, Envision Entertainment has now confirmed the date for the price increase announced last year for the bustling medieval-fantasy city builder simulation Pioneers of Pagonia. From April 8, 2025, the price will be permanently increased to 34.99 EUR / 34.99 USD. Interested pioneers should therefore act quickly, as Pioneers of Pagonia is currently available in the Steam Spring Sale with an additional 20% off on the current price of 29.99 EUR / 29.99 USD – this is the last chance to get the strategic economy simulation for the discounted Early Access launch price.
A lot of new content has been added over the last 15 months. In addition to more than 150 quality-of-life improvements to the controls, game mechanics, game entry and visual revisions, four extensive content updates were added over the course of 2024. The economy update with new buildings and units at the beginning of 2024 was followed by the shared co-op update last April. The mining update last June included the iconic geologist and the new Scavs enemy type. In November last year, the last and biggest content update named the Magic Update was released, with new magic units, enemies and resources and an overhaul of the combat system. The next roadmap update will be announced in Q2 2025; In addition to new challenges, a map editor will be integrated, among other things. The story campaign, which has been widely requested by the community, has been confirmed for the 1.0 release, the final release date has not yet been announced.
