Begin preparations to obtain the sixth power with the Sixth Star event!
LOS ANGELES – July 20, 2023 – MapleStory, Nexon’s original free-to-play, side-scrolling 2D MMORPG, launched the second part of its two-part summer update, Savior Part 2, on July 19th. Packed with a new mystical land to discover, a new boss to defeat, and the Guild Castle, there are plenty of adventures for Maplers to embark on!
From July 19th, Maplers can unite with their guild members and work together to rebuild the legendary Guild Castle and level it up by unlocking new benefits and features through weekly missions and other exciting activities.
- New weekly quests reward Guild Energy, allowing access to loot from the Throne Room based on energy level.
- Unlock the Training Area, a unique location that allows you to gain passive EXP, and other rooms such as the Storage Room, Dining Room, Swimming Pool, Party Room, and the Greenhouse!
To prepare for the 6th Job’s arrival to MapleStory this winter, players can embark on a journey to acquire the Sixth Star and its power by completing daily missions, challenges, and earning rewards! Completing one of the Stars, or chapters, will also provide a huge selection of prizes. These include Radiant Star Pop Mount, EXP Potion, Arcane Umbra Weapon Box, Karma Legendary Potential Scroll, and the Terry Pet. Talk to Terry to learn more about the sixth energy in Maple World!
In addition, starting August 10th, Maplers can aid the Maple Alliance in discovering the secrets of Shangri-La and defend the land from Kaling:
- Mystical land: Shangri-La - Within the Odium Laboratory, Tai Yu opens a magical portal to the mystical lands of Shangri-La! The elders, researchers who created the Adversary of the ancient gods, confined themselves to this land. Now, they are threatened by Kaling and need the help of the Maple Alliance to bring an end to her wrath.
- New boss: Kaling - Kaling, an Apostle of Darmoor and the creator of the Four Perils, will take all your strength and skill to defeat! In order to challenge Kaling, who has absorbed the power of the Perils, you need to defeat the three Perils – Qionqi, Taowu, and Hundun. Once you have overcome Kaling, you can obtain items such as the Ferocious Beast Entanglement Ring. Do you have what it takes to defend the land of Shangri-La from the forces of Kaling?
Maplers can also enjoy the Wongstaurant event until August 29th, a diverse gaming experience with a variety of rewards that will be available through special weekly events. And don’t miss the chance to prepare for the 6th job advancement by leveling up characters to Lv. 250 during the Hyper Burning event (which has been extended until November due to the Sixth Star event)!
