LONDON, UK – March 21, 2022 – Mining sandbox adventure Core Keeper has now sold more than 500,000 units within its first two weeks of launching on Steam Early Access, developer Pugstorm and publisher Fireshine Games (formerly Sold Out Games) announced today.

The underground indie hit had already become the publisher’s fastest-selling digital title of all time after selling an incredible 100,000 copies within its first two days of launch, and has continued to see hundreds of thousands of players join the adventure to explore the mysterious caverns since.

As of today, Core Keeper is now also officially verified for Steam Deck, meaning Steam Deck users can continue their mining adventure on the go. Additional gameplay features and content, including new biomes and game mechanics, are also planned to be added to the game throughout the Early Access period.

“We have been so excited by the community’s response to Core Keeper and are thrilled that more than half a million players have already joined us on the game’s journey,” said Sarah Hoeksma, Marketing Director at Fireshine Games. “We’re already hard at work on some exciting plans for the game’s future, and can’t wait to share more in the weeks and months ahead.”

Core Keeper is a 1-8 player mining sandbox adventure set in an ancient cavern of creatures, treasures and trinkets. Mine relics and resources to build your base, craft new equipment and survive. Defeat giant monsters, discover hidden secrets, farm crops, go fishing, cook new recipes and explore a procedurally generated underground world to unravel the mystery of the ancient core.

Core Keeper is available now on PC via Steam Early Access. For more information, follow @CoreKeeperGame on Twitter and join the discussion on Discord.
