Indie Game Studio Uses Store Page to Raise Awareness of the Endangered Black-Footed Ferret.

Watch a live 24/7 broadcast of cute black-footed ferrets on Steam

RALEIGH, NC—November 22, 2019—Today, Noble Robot, an indie game development studio currently working on a ferret mischief game called Widget Satchel, announced that they would be re-streaming a live broadcast of the black-footed ferret until the release of the game later this year. Run by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the black-footed ferret cam captures a real-time feed of North America's most endangered mammal that, at one point, was thought to be extinct.

Regarding the idea behind re-broadcasting the black-footed ferret cam, Noble Robot CEO Mark LaCroix said, “The main character in our game is a ferret. During our research of ferrets, we learned about the endangerment of the black-footed ferret and thought it was a shame. These cute animals need attention, and that's what we're aiming for with the ferret cam."

The broadcast is currently live on the Widget Satchel Steam store page at https://store.steampowered.com/app/890480/Widget_Satchel/. More live ferret cams are available on the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service website at https://www.fws.gov/mountain-prairie/ea/ferretCam.php.

Donations can be made to support black-footed ferret recovery through the American Ferret Association at https://www.ferret.org/shopping/donations.html.
