SEATTLE, February, 24nd, 2020 - Misdirection Games announces “Riposte!” a medieval party fighting game for PC.
It’s stab or be stabbed in Riposte!, a 4-8 player party fighting game where players control the weapons (not the characters) in dynamic 2v2 duels and crazy minigames. Riposte! features gorgeous medieval inspired art, reminiscent of cut-out animations.
The core of the game is a novel 2v2 dueling system where players directly control the weapons, with one player on a team controlling the sword and the other in charge of the shield. There are multiple primary and secondary weapons to choose from, each with their own advantages and unique ability.
Riposte! can be played in individual duels, a tournament bracket, or in the party tavern mode where combat is broken up with fun minigames.
RELEASE DATE
Riposte! is scheduled for release in Spring 2020 on Steam (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1226920/Riposte/) and other PC distribution platforms.
STUDIO
Misdirection Games is an independent game studio in Seattle, Washington. Founded in 2018, Riposte! will be its first release.
