Nostalgic ‘Kaze and the Wild Masks’ free Closed Beta starts on Steam today

Players can now put their platformer skills to the test before the full release

Rotterdam, The Netherlands - March 27, 2020 - Today SOEDESCO® and VOX Game Studio announced a free Closed Beta for 90’s inspired platformer Kaze and the Wild Masks. From today until April 6, the nostalgic pixel-art platformer is playable in Closed Beta on Steam®. Players can claim their key via the SOEDESCO Gleam page. By joining the Closed Beta, players worldwide can already hop through the Crystal Islands and give their feedback. Kaze and the Wild masks is filled with simple and intuitive mechanics, difficult challenges and iconic bosses, which give off that classic 90’s platformer vibe.

Beta Version
With the Closed Beta of Kaze and the Wild Masks, VOX Game Studio wants to get as much feedback from the community as possible to find overall improvement points. They are interested in feedback on the learning curve of the game and the overall flow. Players can leave their feedback on the SOEDESCO Discord server or via the Steam Community Hub. The Closed Beta consists of the first world that players can journey through. Each next level will require a bit more platformer skills than the previous level and players will get familiar with more enraged living vegetables and new surroundings. They will travel through jungles, skies and more while discovering hidden bonus levels along the way.
 
About Kaze and the Wild Masks
In Kaze and the Wild Masks, you journey through the Crystal Islands in 90’s classics platformer style. Play as Kaze and save your friend Hogo from a curse that spread chaos around the islands. Face enraged living vegetables by invoking the powers of the Wild Masks. Pounce ferociously like a tiger, soar through the sky like an eagle, sprint fiercely like a lizard and rule the sea like a shark.

About VOX Game Studio
VOX Game Studio is a game development company based in Porto Alegre, at the south of Brazil. Founded in 2011, they have since specialized in the development for the Unity engine, having outsourced their work to multiple companies worldwide. Today, their team consists of 17 members. Half of them works with outsource projects, and the other half works on the Kaze and the Wild Masks project.
